The project proposes to challenge the user to interact with the beginning of a plant life cycle. The participant is invited to plant the seed of a wild chestnut, to follow its evolution from the germination stage to its final planting in the ambient environment, understanding its entire life cycle. Thanks to this seemingly simple gesture, the plantsman succeeds in helping restore balance in the natural environment. Beyond the educational role of the initiative, there is a powerful motif. The tree acquires the role of Axis Mundi-personal, uniting the three levels of the cosmos: the underground (roots), the earth (the trunk), and the sky (branches).
All of the materials being used are sustainable. The planter is completely biodegradable, realised entirely out of raw natural materials – which still keep their delicate scent and natural fibre texture.
